Moon Wytch Garden

My project is called Moon Wytch Garden.

I quickly moved from sketchbook thumbnails to SketchUp once I committed to this idea of an elevated terrace around an old tree.

I built a quick, incredibly rough model and color corrected a screen shot of it in PS modeled after a study I did in watercolor and gouache of an old lighthouse in RI.

A color study over my rough mock up of the environment. I was trying to be experimental with realism for this piece, I wanted to focus on green and cool red local colors with cyan and violet lighting colors, and a warm light from fire.

Skeleton coming together, I was going for a day-for-night approach to the nighttime lighting.

This is what I have so far. I have a list of focused critiques and a character that I am working on posed on the bench. I'll update as soon as I can.
